"This sauce combination will literally change your life"

A concerned Australian citizen alerts us of our faulty Uppsala ways when it comes to condiments: "I think we need to have an honest and open discussion about your kebabs."

This is a letter to the editor / Det här är en insändare

Dear Uppsala Readership,

As an Australian who visited your beautiful city in June 2019. I think we need to have an honest and open discussion about your kebabs. Don’t get me wrong, you have some really, really good kebabs. But you are missing one fundamental piece of the puzzle – the secret sauce. In Australia there exists a combination of sauces so delicious that their very utterance stirs the stomachs of university students from Queensland to Tasmania.

Not since my year seven girlfriend broke up with me have I felt heartbreak like that which I felt on the floor of your kebab shop in 2019. The attendant in one of your kebab stores asked which sauces I would like, naturally, I asked for ‘The Holy Trinity’, to which he responded with a blank stare. He did not know what this was.

The Holy Trinity is a sauce combination that consists of garlic sauce, barbeque sauce, and chilli sauce. It’s a staple of the Australian kebab, and a kebab without this combination basically a salad, and salads are pointless.

I am not exaggerating when I say that a kebab coupled with this sauce combination will literally change your life. From the bottom of my heart: please, please, please make this a thing in Uppsala, you will thank us.

Kind regards,

A concerned Australian citizen
